Dedicated Emergency Medical Services/Search and Rescue
This services provides a 24-hour/7 day a week coverage for responding to aeromedical emergencies, evacuations and interhospital transfers, performing search and rescue of persons over land or water or participating in counter-disaster operations such as food and medical resupply. It has also been tasked to assist Police operations such as sieges and abductions and support major fire responses.
 

Marine Pilot Transfer
Until the use of helicopters was introduced harbour pilot boats and launches were the only and often hazardous way of getting a maritime pilot on board a ship entering or leaving harbour. Pilots were used to spending up to three-quarters of their duty time being ferried around in launches, which clearly was an expensive way of doing things. Helicopters have for a number of years been increasingly employed to do the job, both by day and by night, in the interests of safety, speed, cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
 

Offshore Operations
For the past 10 years Jayrow Helicopters has provided offshore helicopter support services for the transportation of crew and marine pilots. In 1997 the board of JAYROW Helicopters Pty Ltd put in place a strategy to employ a number of highly experienced senior people to lead and drive the organization into twin-engine offshore helicopter services.
 

Onshore Operations
Jayrow Helicopters is an Australian-owned operator of an all-turbine fleet of helicopters that has been successfully providing onshore helicopter services to Australian Industry and contracted customers for the past 40 years. One of our largest contracted customers is Telstra where we have enjoyed a successful contracted arrangement for the past five years.
